Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using the Viargues Translation service. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Company Overview
Viargues Translation is a professional document translation service operated by Viargues Financial & AI Solutions, a company providing financial technology and AI-powered services. Translation is one of several services offered under the Viargues brand.

2. Acceptance of Terms
By checking the acceptance checkbox on our upload or Quick Translate form, creating an account, or otherwise using the Viargues Translation platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
3. Account Access
Viargues Translation offers two modes of access:
- Authenticated account: Users who create an account via Auth0 (using email/password or a social provider) gain access to translation history, re-download of certified documents, and streamlined payment tracking.
- Quick Translate (guest mode): Users may submit a translation without creating an account by providing their email address. Access to the resulting document is controlled via a unique, time-limited token sent by email.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account at info@viarguesolutions.com.
4. Accepted Documents
Our standard service supports translation of the following official document types issued by Francophone countries:
- Driving licence (Permis de conduire)
- National identity card (Carte nationale d'identité)
- Birth certificate (Acte de naissance)
- Death certificate (Acte de décès)
- Marriage certificate (Acte de mariage)
- High school diploma and transcript (Diplôme et relevé de notes du baccalauréat)
- Criminal record / Police clearance (Casier judiciaire)
- Custom documents — available upon quote request
Authenticity responsibility: By submitting a document, you represent and warrant that the document is genuine, unaltered, and that you have the legal right to share it. Viargues Financial & AI Solutions accepts no liability for translations of fraudulent, forged, or illegally obtained documents. If we have reason to believe a submitted document is fraudulent, we reserve the right to cancel the order immediately without refund and to report the matter to relevant authorities.
5. Translation Process
All translations are produced using AI-assisted technology to generate an initial translation, which is then individually reviewed and verified by a member of our professional team before delivery to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Delivery target: We aim to deliver certified translations within 30 minutes of document submission. This is a target, not a contractual guarantee. Delivery may be delayed by document complexity, volume, or technical issues.
- Customer review: Before final certification, customers are invited to review a preview of their translation and approve it or provide notes. Approval triggers the certification step.
- Certification statement: Each delivered document includes a signed certification statement confirming that the translation is accurate to the best of our professional reviewers' knowledge.
- Accuracy: While we strive for the highest accuracy, we cannot guarantee that our translations will be accepted by every institution, authority, or jurisdiction. Suitability for a specific purpose remains the user's responsibility.
6. Pricing and Payment
Pricing is displayed at the time of service selection. Standard certified translations start at $20 per document. Custom translation quotes are provided individually and may vary based on document length, complexity, and urgency.
- Payment processor: All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Viargues Financial & AI Solutions does not store card details on its systems.
- Payment timing: Payment is required before a certified document is released. Invoices are issued by our team and include a secure Stripe checkout link.
- Refund policy: Refund requests must be submitted within 48 hours of payment via info@viarguesolutions.com. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and will not be issued where a translation has already been certified and delivered. No refunds are issued for processing errors caused by illegible or fraudulent documents.
- Taxes: Prices displayed may not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
7. Delivery and Document Access
Certified translations are made available for download in PDF format subject to the following access windows:
- Standard account users: Certified documents are available for download for 7 days from the date of certification. After this period, the download link expires and the document is removed from our servers.
- Quick Translate (guest) users: After admin certification, a download link is sent by email. Each generated download link is valid for 10 minutes. A new link can be generated by revisiting the download page using the token provided in the email.
We strongly recommend downloading and securely storing your certified document immediately upon receipt. Viargues Financial & AI Solutions is not responsible for documents that cannot be retrieved after the access window has expired.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. We are committed to handling your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy.
- Authentication: User identity and credentials are managed by Auth0, a leading identity platform operating under appropriate data protection standards.
- Document storage: Uploaded documents and translated PDFs are stored on AWS S3 (Amazon Web Services) with encryption at rest and in transit. Documents are deleted after the applicable access window.
- Payment data: Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card or bank account information.
- Backend infrastructure: Our API servers are hosted on Render, operating in the United States with TLS encryption in transit.
- Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting info@viarguesolutions.com. Requests will be processed within 30 days.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and materials provided through the Viargues Translation platform — including but not limited to the logo, interface design, and translation methodologies — are the intellectual property of Viargues Financial & AI Solutions and are protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.
The translated output delivered to you is provided for your personal or professional use. You may not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit translated documents produced by our service without express written permission from Viargues Financial & AI Solutions.
You retain ownership of the original documents you upload. By submitting a document, you grant Viargues Financial & AI Solutions a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, translate, and store that document for the sole purpose of providing the requested service.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Viargues Financial & AI Solutions and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service;
- The rejection of a translated document by any government authority, institution, employer, or court;
- Loss of data due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control;
- Any delay in delivery beyond our stated target times;
- Inaccuracies arising from illegible, damaged, or incomplete source documents.
Our total aggregate liability to you in respect of any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific translation service giving rise to the claim.
11. Force Majeure
Viargues Financial & AI Solutions shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of its obligations under these Terms where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, power or internet outages, third-party service disruptions (including AWS, Auth0, Stripe, or Render), pandemics, or acts of war or terrorism.
In such circumstances, we will endeavour to communicate the delay to affected customers as promptly as practicable and resume services as soon as reasonably possible.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Viargues Translation platform at any time, with or without notice, for any of the following reasons:
- Violation of these Terms of Service;
- Submission of fraudulent, forged, or illegal documents;
- Abusive, fraudulent, or harmful behaviour toward our staff or systems;
- Non-payment of outstanding invoices;
- Any activity that we reasonably believe poses a legal, security, or reputational risk.
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at info@viarguesolutions.com. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation within 30 days. If no resolution is reached, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of competent jurisdiction in the United States. Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under applicable local law.
14. General Provisions
- Entire agreement: These Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Viargues Financial & AI Solutions regarding the Viargues Translation service.
- Severability: If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
- No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision of these terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
- Updates: We may revise these terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after revisions constitutes acceptance.
